Monster Mash

These are a mixture of 'Classic' monsters, not done for anything in particular really. Might come in handy at some point.
I quite liked the style of them. Hopefully do some more.

Here's some test art for the Barf Packaging.

Plastic Fantastic

Got my first forage into the world of Vinyl back from the 3D printers.
I've put in the artwork he's based on as well.
Hopefully have the figure fully painted in the coming days.

Painting (done with real paint and everything) that I did a while back. Before electricity was invented.

Next Stop Uranus!

Ha, ha. A Uranus joke. Anyway, bit of a mixed bag this one. Really just an experiment in brushes, seeing as I now have thousands of them.

Usual 50's Sci-Fi fair, girl , rocket, etc...

Yawn! Pt.2

Yes, another old fan favourite. I know it's not fashionable or cool to do Superman, but it was very quick. That's all I have in my defence. Back to the ladies next, they are far more interesting to draw really.

Yawn!

Yes I know everybody does Wolverine. But you rarely see him in the classic brown costume. It's all black leather and Hugh Jackman these days. Not that he was bad or anything, quite the opposite, but once an actor plays a 'Superhero' then from that day forward the character normally retains his likeness, or some part of it. Anyway, here he is on a lovely green background.

She's A Wonder

This is the first 'Superhero' I think I've drawn since being a teenager. And certainly the first Wonder Woman I've done. I saw the work that Cliff Chiang had done for the Green Arrow/Black Canary new series from DC, and really liked his bold style and flat colour. So I basically had a go.

The image is maybe a bit static, but it's more a learning curve than anything else. Next one might have a bit more movement, hopefully.

The Masks of Xero

I've been experimenting a wee bit with masks in Photoshop. Here's the result of an image masked to the max.

On the left is the original line drawing, and on the right the 'finished piece'.

It's obviously in the style of a 50's distressed tin sign or poster.

Start Your Engines...

First one up is an image I did for a nightclub which was never used. And yes, she does have fat ankles. It's water retention and shouldn't be mocked.
Below is the logo for the club. Both done in PhotoShop.
